Missing grease fittings in skid

The hole that they press into is deep between the two steel plates and the zerk has to be that long just to reach it. I just found a drill bit that fit snug in the hole and turned the zerk body about .001" bigger and then hammered it in. Don't think it will do any damage in the middle of the shaft.

Ok, got ya. I just assumed there was a bushing of some sort in there? ;)!
 
There is a plastic bushing but I wasn't worried about it....until I read your post. But I'm sure it will be fine and it's better than no grease.
