Mohawks Skis First Ride

let me start by saying this is the first time I have gone to aftermarket skis and I see why everyone does. They transformed my SW completely. I was running stock Tuners with aggressive Snow trackers which were good on hard pack, but only good on hard pack.

Running the 35-126 4" carbides, I did 150 miles Northern NH Saturday, mixed but good conditions, some hard pack some loose, some powdery, the skis were amazing in all conditions. I was able to go into corners confidently, the #*$&@ end actually came around because the skis held so good!! I was unsure of the value but it was some of the best money I have spent in a while.

I also have the Mohawk skis . Makes a world off difference for deep snow and handling. Totally happy with the 4 in carbides with skis set back.

I am going to try the Woody 4" carbide , but I am waiting for a anti dart for that ski from Ft Kent power sports, going up there first of next week to Sinclair, if anyone has any better ideas for me please chime in. I have had Mohawks for 3 years now and they are great. They did dart, but I got the SLP carbides and Keel Blade, what a difference. Virtually eliminated the darting. Mine still take a lot of steering e,but they are worth it.

I didn't think there was aggressive tuner snowtrackers for the sidewinder .

It pretty easy to post a picture the problem is if you are on your phone they are ginormous and need to be reduced in size. This is not Facebook and we dont have the money or the resources to accommodate the masses. Its just me and me alone

Awesome!! Look like you got her figured out. Many phones images are so big its just best to download an app to reduce images. I have it noted in the Help section as well.

I have a set of Mohawks for sale. Black ski with blue saddles and loops. They have 8 inch carbides on them and I have a new set of 6 inch ones also. Also have powder pros for sale.

It pretty easy to post a picture the problem is if you are on your phone they are ginormous and need to be reduced in size. This is not Facebook and we dont have the money or the resources to accommodate the masses. Its just me and me alone

A very simple way to upload images to forums is this....

Get the google photos app on your phone. Set up the App to the default upload size. So when you open the Google photos app, all images taken will be uploaded, you can set it up to use Wifi only, or use your data. Google photos does a very nice job of storing a very nice resolution image when using their default setting.(Not full res)

Once your pics are uploaded, you will get a notification saying you can now delete these photos from your device(to save space) or you can keep the FULL RES pics on your device if you like.

Now you can use these resized images to use on most any forum. I like this as I have google photos on all my devices, my Sony 75" bigscreen, and on my iMac desktop. The pics can be seen from any device, and does a nice job of slideshow on a big screen TV. On my Desktop I just drag whichever pic I want from google photos onto desktop and then I upload them here to forum. Best part is this saves a ton of space on hardrive, on mac or phone.....And its all FREE!
