I'm still waiting for my transfer rod assembly and was looking at the mono skid. Why can't we use a Poo, Doo, or cat set of transfer blocks and mount them to the rear rails? It seems very simple to do or am I missing something? It looks like there is enough room. This would eliminate the transfer rod and the rear scissors would now hit the adjuster blocks for set transfer. Anyone ever tried this?
How'd you make out riding with out the trans rod.? I've got appr. 250 mls on and I don't think I'm going to bother putting it back on. Afriend rode mine with out and went home an removed his and isn't putting back on either.

I actually haven't ridden yet w/o it do to bad conditions. How bad was it trying to keep the front end down?
Mine broke today and i have a 2001 SRX w/ ripsaw, ported and clutched and i can't keep the thing down no matter what speed i'm riding. Fun for about 2 miles but after that you got to ride the throttle or hit a tree.

My dealer claims he's spoken to rep and rep says the only way it would break is if it was adjusted to far(past max). Typical lame answer. Mine was thread at max and I was having some awesome holeshots, but I just don't think the aluminum threads can take the pressure once you get these sleds to hook up.

I would not run it with out any transfer stop, You can stab the rail's through the window's in the track. kviper
