I am thinking I would like to rebuild my MONO shock in my RX-1. Can anyone suggest a place that does this? How much $$ are we looking at to do this?

Thanks.

Carver performance in Mn is doing all of the Yamaha race sled shocks, so they would be my choice. Bruce at B-line would also be right up there, he used to be the yamaha race shock guru. he would probabbly be cheaper too. Maxdlx

Got any details on:
B-Line - WWW.??????????????.Com

You might want to put a few miles on that attak first before you worry about rebuilding the shock, about 8,000 for the ohlins. :drink:
Also try Bruce at Pioneer Performance (www.pioneerperformance.net), he is an authorized Yamaha rebuilder. ;)!

I will go with Bruce @ Pioneer. He's about 1.5 hours away and I've always been happy with his stuff.

Thanks guys.

PS. He quoted me about $45 for new oil and new seals. Shipping is extra.

What happened to the original shock?

Nothing wrong with the shock....I just like to keep the shocks in good working order. For $45, it's worth the ride. Besides...we do alot more miles than the average guy.

Check out my avatar.....now imagine that trail for 8 hours a day for 5 days!

;)!
