So i bought my Apex used last year, and of course, the transfer rod adjustment tool did not come with it. I'm sure I could buy a new one, but all I really need is the measurements of the max/min lines on it. Perhaps one fine gentleman out there could do me the huge favor of measuring these lines and posting them?

I as well did not get a measuring tool with my new to me sled. It looks like the maximum transfer adjustment on the pic is about 2 1/4 inches. Where exactly do you take the measurement from? Thanksactionjack said:

Ok, since I do not know where to take the measurements from I measured the exposed threads on the transfer rod. I Have 3/4 of an inch of threads. How much more can I safely adjust the rod out?ranger1 said:I as well did not get a measuring tool with my new to me sled. Well since no one appears to know the answer to the max amount of transfer rod threads I can adjust it to, I think I might be best just to take the rod out as I don't want to damage it by adjusting it past it's safe limit. (max transfer)

I just measured mine, 11 Apex set to max transfer. 52mm from jam nut (forward side) to inside of the rod where you would turn it. 19 threads to the jam nut on full transfer.

Thanks sx7001, that was the info I was looking for!!! My sled is a 06 Attak, should be the same specs as the 2011?
I just took the transfer rod out but I guess that will make it easier to adjust, stick it in the vise & good to go, lol !!!!
Thanks again for the specs & for counting the threads!!

I'm assuming it is. Just measure yours and see if it falls in the spec.
