This is my first year on a nitro, love the sled ,however I would like a little more top end speed and a little more pull from 70 on up would be nice. What have you nitro owners done to your sleds to achieve this through clutching, intake, exhaust or fuel programming, don't want to supercharge or turbo ,don't want to spend over $1000.00,would like to hear what some of you have done!

Beat out an 800 XP Summit 146 today. Got me out of the hole, but reeled him in with ease. It will cost you over a thousand bucks for exhaust, pc5 and clutch kit. More like $1500.

Team tied set up from Hartman with any aftermarket exhaust and the nytro becomes a beast! That set up gave my turbo nytro with 10lbs of boost a hard time to 100 mph.

Thanks for the replies, how much speed did you actually gain with these setups? Would you gain enough power that you could gear up?

No need to gear up, gearing down is what you want20 tooth instead of 21 oem.

just go turbo or supercharger... best bang for the buck when you really add it all up.

A little bit of clutching ( play with weights ) air box mod and programmer from hurricane and it'll get you up to 105mph...
