Well I happen to have a few bucks for some power adders. Was wondering what would be the best bang for the buck (performance wise). I have a budget around $500. Was thinking clutch kit or header or K&N's with a PC. I wish I had another zero for that number and am sure you all know what would be going on!
Thanks for any input guys.

I would say clutch work, but thats just me

Well considering what you are considering..here's the prices ( roughly )
Header-$550
Filters-$255
PC5-$350
Clutch kit-$200-400 on average

For $500 you could get a Schmidt Bros stage 2 clutch kit and their airbox mod. If you go with K&Ns you will then require a PC...putting you over $500...tough call, but you will really notice gains from a good clutch kit...other option may be to find some of this stuff used.

clutch kits are by far the best improvement for little money that you can buy. you can have all the power in the world but if you cant get that power to the track then your just bouncing off the rev limiter cussing to yourself about how you shoulda bought the clutch kit first.

I'm going to vote clutch kit as well. The thing is to get the best out of the intake mod it's better to be clutched. I always start with clutching and get the power the sled is already making to the ground first.

Lots of good kits out there, I have had great results with the Schmidt Bros kit I bought last year. I believe it is the stage 2 that I have.

Good luck with your decision. ;)!
