I'm looking to do some summer time mods to my XTX, and I was hoping for some input on the "best bang for your buck" upgrades!! I already put the sport bumber and powder plate on, and I'll do new skis before next season. What else should I do???

Clutch kit
Depending what type of riding, perhaps change the track more to your liking...or stud the stock one.

I was looking into the Ulmer Racing clutch kit. Seems like clutching is one of the first things riders do with new sleds. Ulmer said they are probably going to have specials on clutch kits in September.

clutching is always a good upgrade, even if it's just tweaking the stock setup. I'm also a firm believer in upgrading the skis...after doing it once I will never use stock again.

I would say skis, track and clutch kit (in that order, too...).

What skis and track do you recommend?

It is all about riding conditions and personal preferences.
About 70% of my riding is soft, rough, un-groomed trails and about 25% is off trail. The last 5% is hard trails, seems impossible to avoid couple of days in the end of every season...
For this type of riding I would recommend SLP PP skis and Camoplast Back Country 1.75" track.

If you go to a 1.75, you need to remove the heat exchanger protectors. I was torn between the Backcounry as Alatalo suggested, but I ended up using the 1.325 Cobra, and i'm extremely happy with it. It's a softer compound than many others, so it may not see the longevity, and it gives up a little side bite in the corners when compared to the stock track, but the bite is great, its off trail capabilities were awesome (for my tastes anyway) and it didnt give up any top end.
