Mountain Cooler on a Warrior Question

Can someone confirm that no mountain cooler protection is required on an UNSTUDDED Warrior.

I THOUGHT HE WAS ASKING ABOUT A COOLER!
I SHOULD SLOW DOWN A LITTLE I GUESS!

I thought the lugs could hit the cooler...... so NO protectors are needed then?
btw........ 95% of sleds here run without studs. I don't think we get anywhere near the ice you guys do.
 
No, you do NOT need any protection without studs. I have that cooler on my Rage, works just fine...never had 1 problem with anything hitting.
Had it on there from 0 miles...have 800 now. :D
 
I would only stud if I had a Turbo! With an 1.25 track I find I really don't need studs. When conditions get bad, that's when studding looks appealing.
