Could someone that has put an Apex mountain riser on their apex or attak tell me if the cables need to be lengthened? The riser itself is only one inch taller than the stock apex / attak.

I am looking to put a mountain riser on my attak, but my dealer says they think I'd need to extend cables....

Much appreciation.

riser

Joel,
some guys have put them on without lengthening any cables. I am working on the same thing. If you need any more info give me a shout and well talk it over.-Dave

is that all we'll gain from the mountain riser. it looks much bigger in the brochure. guess i'll go with something else

Yep, just one inch difference... Dave, did you get yours already? My sled is still in the shop.. I'm goin to have them put it on while they have it. I'm headin back up around the 18th I think.. probably stay in houghton...

Works for me, no extra parts.

I put one on mine also last year, although i thought it was about 1.75" bigger? I have a pic somewhere of both of them sitting next to each other. I put the mtn throttle cable on mine also. For the 30 bucks or whatever the cable cost, i thought it was cheap insurance to not have a throttle stick in a corner somewhere when the bars are cranked way over.

Can I fit hand guards with low windshield and the 1" gain from the mountain riser, on my Attak? Anybody know?
