For those that already have their Vipers, congrats ... I am wondering if the spare belt can be mounted on the belt guard similar to how all the other Yamaha sleds mount them. Thinking of riveting two belt clips onto the guard. For those that have their sleds, does this look feasible?
Thanks

Looks like it should be doable. Then could use the little bag on tunnel for a few tools.

There's plenty of room in the tunnel bag for belt, tools and I keep a good tow strap in there as well. Be careful of leaving your tools in there. The pouch is not moisture proof and my tools rusted up. I usually opened the pouch after a good ride and let it dry out with the rest of the sled in the garage.

Some last year removed the seat and with a small amount of trimming were able to slide the belt right under there, and it was a nice fit,and the seat comes right off,one screw, now if I had a viper that would be where I hide mine, cat gave us a very small rear bag for just the belt, but most of us turbo guys had to mount saddle bags to hold all our belts for the weekend lol..good luck.

That's why with a real windshield like I run and cats large windshield bag,i have room for cats tools plus what I want of my owne and other stuff too.

Not really room on clutch cover, plus if you could/did get it jammed in there it may disrupt air flow.

Belt guard

Here's a pic of a viper we took the morning. We are now of offering a universal fox float pump holder. It fits apex, vector,Nytro, and the viper. We needed the pic for our website. Anyway here is the pic so you can see the possible room for a spare belt.

I think the "pouch" they provide is a joke. I will be getting a larger bag but would rather keep it for other essentials besides the belt.

Thanks

I have to retract my earlier statement. I thought you guys were getting the tunnel bag. I see now that little pouch back there. It's pretty small.

When I looked at them there seems to be enough room under the clutches in the side tub panel I am planning to strap it in there with zip ties

I'm gonna order the one that comes standard on base models. My bro's rr had the same one and it was nice.

That is much nicer than the expandable tunnel bag which is larger but doesn't have any small zipper pouches and is a pain in the @#@ to open when in the low profile setting.

I just run a backpack on my rush
