Has anyone mounted the windshield to aftermarket risers like the PowerMadd ones? I would like to replace the stock one with the PowerMadd universal pivot riser system. I assume I just need to drill the mounting holes in the riser and I'm good to go.

I milled out a block and mounted it below the factory riser and made up longer bolts since no one makes the length needed, I even talked directly with ARP and nothing. My wind screen is also 3" higher and still mounted in the factory riser.

We (Muffin Works) have riser kits for the Phazer that will accomodate the mounting of the windshield and the speedometer.

I'm in the process of having a block that slips under the stock riser custom made. It won't be angle adjustable but since the stock riser is nearly vertical and I'm only going up 2 inches it won't move the bars back too far.

I drilled and taped the stock riser two inch lower so the windshield will be in the same place.

When I get a price for the block I could let you know if you like.

Hi Cubby,

Just a a follow up, it was fairly cost prohibitive to have one made as a one off. I think I'm going to get a Lake Effect's one. That way I can keep my windshield by still get at 2.5 inch rise.
