I'm thinking about buying a mpi turbo kit for my 15 ltx le viper. I was wondering what else I would have to buy to make this kit function properly. Will I need to buy an ignition module? Will my straitline performance header work with this turbo? I have a power commaander fuel controller from Ulmer I'm assuming I would have to get a new map obviously. What gauges would I need? Pretty much looking for a list of things I will also need to buy and a rough estimate of the cost. Thank you!

Power commander will not work. There is a wiring issue that has not been figured out yet. Also once the wiring is figured out, you would need the model of commander that does boost, the standard PCV will not work. Just use the gems controller that comes with the kit.
You will definitely need clutching and you should definitely switch to the 8dn belt, even if you don't do the turbo. You can do the Ulmer kit or PM me and I can give you a setup that works great, and hides any turbo lag very well. Clutching and belts have been discussed at nauseam in the Viper section
While not absolutely necessary, you should get a boost gauge. I like the KOSO unit. Its very affordable, I think about $350 on amazon. It does boost, and AFR, both are important to fine tune your boosted sled. It also does temp. Most importantly it comes with all the sensors, the O2 sensors, boost sensor, and temp probe. All plug and play. You can also setup warning lights for over boost, Lean and rich conditions, and over temp. The mount is also included. Most important thing about this gage is that it has to be powered up after the sled is running, so just get a small switch so you can turn it on after the sled is up and running. You can also use the switch to reset the gage while going down the trail, if you need to clear and error.
If you get the kit, do yourself a favor and print off the instructions from the net, they are in color and help a lot.
I've installed my own turbo on my viper and a super charger on my nitro. I've also helped on several other turbo installs. If you get stuck or need some help or tricks let me know.
Careful..........................Once you go boosted, you'll never, ever go back.

Thank you! You have been very helpful. I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the kit I have to compete with the sidewinder somehow lol. I will post some pics of the install. Thanks again!

Your Straight line header will work, I am running them on both my turbo vipers. You will have to get a clutch kit and I would recommend Ulmer's it is the most tunable I have used. You should have your clutches machined to achieve full shift out if you have not already. The Power Commander V controller will work the older versions I am not sure of .
After a season you will want to add the intercooler, upgraded fuel pump and 4th injector. An EVO flash to retard timing and pushing it to 7 .5 lbs on pump and 10.5 lbs on race gas. It is a sickness.

Oh and I am a true believer in boost and AFR gauges The Koso is good but I do not like al in 1's because if 1 part goes bad you have to replace the whole thing vs. one or the other and in 4 yrs I have lost 3 boost and 1 AFR gauges.
