Hello fellow sled heads. 2008 Apex 162 track. Running B-W-b primary spring Dalton ramps 70g with 4.5g rivet on inner hole. 14.5 rollers. Secondary, shockwave helix 43-53, turned in most of the way so I guess around 45degrees straight cut. With a purple spring from Alpine Motors set at 20degrees. But Alpine would'nt give me any info on the spring it self !!!!!!!!!. Gearing stock. Running 10psi. With the %$#@% mavrick track. RPM over revs on trail around 4500 feet. Start to climb in mountians over revs when you smah the throttle then settles in 10400. Get steep and deep it stars to fall off 10000-9800. I've used Heavy Hitters in my viper 835 and loved them. Anybody running them boosted. They are so tuneable in the mountians where the tuning should be done. Anyway thanks look forward to your comments.

I have never had good luck with those weights. for high elevationsI would look at 60 gram supertips. load em heavy inner gradually getting lighter towards the tip.

tried the straight and dual angle shockwaves, found they dont backshift as well or maintain their rpm nearly as good as a yammy helix. tried many different combos with the shockwave, none worked very well. couldnt get it to work on flatland or mountains. buddy has the same sled, ended up getting rid of his too. some guys swear by them, but i think they're just trying to justify the amount of money it cost. i've got a couple for sale if anyones interested.
