getting a msd system and not from the original supplier so questions as to what curve to use:
What woulda base curve be to run a stock rx1 engine at 20lbs boost for 1320 ft duration.(asphalt) Fuel will be whatever it needs to be as any octane level needed is available.
Is it realistic to start retarding the timing around 12-15lbs boost and retard the timing 1 degree for each lb of boost increase thru out the rpm range?

We set the base timing at 36 and retard timing after 10lbs
thanx for reply, is the retard amount 1 degree per boost gain a good amount to follow thru the rpm range?
