Hey swelly
How is the steering effort with the Gen III's on the trail? I only ride trails to get back into the hills and in Spring conditions my Gen II can be a workout at slower speeds due to the double keel. I know the Gen III's also have a double keel but they have been modified and are closer together and in my mind that would should work better. I am curious how the new design worked on the trails.
I was talking with Mr. Simons about the Gen III's at the '10 SLC snow show and they looked very prmoising. Since the hardware is the same I was thinking that, if I could get the Gen III bases I could just swap out the Gen II's when the snow conditions change in the Spring time and use the Gen II's only when there is a ton of the light and fluffy stuff mid season, I would have the best of both worlds
Its good to hear the Gen III's work well.
