MTX SE rear measurement

OTM, you're the man! Thanks! I'm exploring the idea of just moving the front mount straight back and relocating the XTX drop brackets to keep the sled low for trail use. Thoughts?

Gomer;

The MTX and XTX aren't really different in ride height, just longer so don't be worried about trail riding, they are fine but because they use a 2.25" paddle you either have to run in snow or use scratchers.

I am not exactly sure what you are getting at. The 153 and 162 MTX SE suspensions share mounting locations but are quite different than the Xtx, so if you are planning to swap an MTX suspension, you have to use the proper holes. If you are just planning on moving the xtx skid back, DON'T....you'll have to move it back like 5" to fit the 153 track, which is way too far IMO....you'll have a track stab problem, among others.

The other big consideration is track pitch, which again is different; MTX (3 inch pitch) and XTX (2.52" pitch), so putting a longer track requires new drivers unless you use a Hartman track extension kit, or find something longer in the 2.52 pitch.

Maybe shoot a few more details...

OTM

OTM, I have the 153 SE skid, Challenger cut to 1.5", and 3" Avid drivers. All I was really worried about was the ride height, just kicking ideas around. Thanks for all the help!
