I'm trying to get some more info on this pivot adapter.
http://www.muffinworksltd.com/
I'm looking for something that will work on my FX Nytro bars.
This adapter looks like its narrow enough to work with stock bars.
What I'm wondering is how much of a rise does this adapter alone add?
2? 2.5? inches?
The stock Nytro throttle cable wont go much beyond 8" (of total rise).
I currently have 7" Fly Risers and a Fly pivot adapter (.75") and its snug on the throttle cable in full turn.
The problem is the Fly pivot adapter is too wide, and doesn't allow me to mount to the flat/straight part of the bars..
My buddy has the Fly pivot adapter and the 6" muffinworks risers..and has the same issue. I'm just not sure that the 6" muffinworks riser and muffinworks adaptor block will work on the Nytro (w/o throttle cable issues)... I've contacted gade-thrasher, but no reply yet. Looking to see if others have tried this approach on their Nytro? What I think would work best is a 5" riser on top of this block...but then I'd have to go the Fly route again..

I got some more detail, all the info I ever wanted, real impressed w/ Jason @ MuffinWorks.
The block raises an additional 2.5".
It is no wider at the riser mount than at the plate mount, so should fit just fine on the bars.
Just wanted to add this info for the next person that might search through for this.

Please post pics if you go with MuffinWorks assembly. Looking at using their setup but want something plug and play.r0tax said:I got some more detail, all the info I ever wanted, real impressed w/ Jason @ MuffinWorks.

I just ordered that adaptor for my Nytro. I should have it in a few days. I will post pics as soon as I get it installed.

Installed my Muffinworks adaptor with Fly risers & it works great. Perfect spacing on the bars. The only thing I found is that with FLY risers, the adaptor posts do not extend out far enough to be flush with the riser. Don't think it will be a problem though.

Yes these are stock cables. I put on 5" Fly risers with the adaptor. I haven't yet taken the slack up in the cables but it doesn't bind as it is.
Ordered mine a couple of days ago. I got the brushed finish.

that turned out good. i just didn't like how tall the block itself was before 'pivoting'. 3"?
I'd rather have that part shorter.
I ended up going w/ the 3" PowerMadd universal pivot and shortened the stock riser..for about an ~8-8.5" total. Stock cables/wires, etc..
The PM pivot mounted upside down allowed me to pivot AT the end of the post, instead of coming out an additional 3" off the post and then pivot.

I'd suggest a Rox riser.
