Guys i think a stright would be better to give the motor a few sec. to build boost. Like a straight 47! Was running a 52-44 or a 51-43 But need more on the big end to hold rpms down and less down low! Like a 47 all the way!!!  :die

You should try a reverse multi angle. The lower start will keep the revs up until the turbo kicks in. Then the steeper finish will help keep the rpm down while the boost is on.

Yea but i guess belt slip is the bad thing staring with a real low angle.

Your might be on the right track Skydog, a straight can give you a holeshot without too much track spin and allow the turbo to spool faster then carry the top end.

Food for thought,
Higher start angles can upshift quicker and can cause track spin, then lug the motor.
Lower angles may shift out too slow causing slow 60ft times.

Remember on the top end you have minimum belt contact with secondary and belt slippage can be a problem solved by heavier spring or lower helix angle.

If you having a problem with RPM control add more tip weight.

Thats all i ran in mine last winter was the stock 47 until i put NOS on to spool the turbo, then i went to a steeper helix!!! :bling
boostin ain't easy!! neither is boozin :die

47 work good? Better than say a 51/43 or 52/44?

Thank you Skydog
