Thought I would join in here after being an observer since purchasing my 2017 Sidewinder in 2017. Did not ride it much the first winter as I was involved with moving. Rode it enough to realize I was not happy with the Fox air shocks. I did the usual mods after doing some research in the mountain of information on this forum.
The mods are:
TD flash and modified stock muffler with appropriate clutch weights and springs
4th wheel kit
Mohawk skis
Axis front and rear shocks
Hygear rear link
Rear tunnel rack
Skid plate
Front bumper
Blue side panels (was never crazy about the white)
Thanks for looking and thanks for all the information.

Really nice job on your sled and the choice of mods. Hopefully you'll have some more time on your hands this winter to enjoy all of the work you put into the sled.

(Did you notice I didn't say anything about the money you put into the sled :)

Hopefully you can keep us posted on how you like your "new" sled this winter.

Cheers!

Welcome and nice looking sled! Reminds me of the XF 141 Cat I had. I still love the weight transfer of the 141...I can only imagine what that's like with a juiced up 998.

Looking forward to your experience with Hygear rear link, am thinking of this but would like to hear some feedback from someone with actual seat time.

Also, looks great, I agree with the "too much white" sentiment.

Wow nice job!
