My buddy has a 06 Apex Mountain/What mods need to be done?

I have been riding and modding my RX-1 Mountain since the fall of 02 when I bought it new. The sheer joy the motor brings is what keeps the sled around.

Now a buddy of mine just bought an 06 Apex Mountain with 1024 miles on it (so the engine is basically just broken in). Now he is asking me what mods should be done to the Apex Mountain to make it better all around and mountain sled.

Would you guys be kind enough to make a list of the mods you feel are needed to make the Apex a worthy mountain sled? Perhaps even a list prioritizing the most to least important mods?

I imagine I will be helping him out with the clutching mods (if there are any).

You know what to do already.
It is just a RX with fuel injection and a bigger track and rider forward ( already done for you).
Get rid of the weight , Skid - drop brackets - front suspension - rack - exhaust - seat.
Clutch it ------done.
It makes a real fun sled out of the stock tank.
Now it is ready for a turbo anytime he feels like it.

Drop brackets? which ones? and what rack is a goer? Im too going to cut out extra weight.

Are there any special clutching tricks for the Apex Mountain?

What about gearing for 4-7,000 feet?

The cheapest way to add performance is to add nitrous. Way cheaper than lightening mods.

With Nitrous you'll rule the 2 stroke roost.
