just got back from my first long ride , probably not long for alot of you but it is for me .
Anyway I put on just over 1000 kms , we went from Hailebury (ont) to new liskard and to kirkland lake then to cochran then to timmins and back to kirkland lake then back to hailebuy.
Trails were great , fast not many sleds .
First of all my m10 is awsome , still need to set it up a bit but still a big improvement, the front end now seems stiff so I am going to try the stock sway bar back in with the longer links and I might try the no sway bar thing too.
As for oil usage , I used to use aobut 1ltr/1000km and I tried the seafoam and did not use hardly any this time . We ran pretty hard everyday too.
I was with 3 revs and all 3 had minor problems , 2 blew belts (within 2 miles of each other ?) and the othe needed a set of plugs and had recoil problems the whole trip, which was taken apart and fixed/cleaned in kirkland lake.
I had zero problems and had the best milage (not by much over the 550 fan rev)
All in all we had a good trip and I still love my Yamaha
