recieved my new sled on friday ,apex attak, all together same day and rode it last night. i went with my son who was riding my 05 800x ptec rev. i am quite impressed. doesnt feel heavy.if anything my rev steers heavier. that is not a bad thing though. lots of mid range and torgue. will have to wait till it brakes in to tell the whole story.my buddy calls it the piano. ill ride with him today. my 14 year olds was quite impressed . he was dead against me buying a 4 stroke. i have him brainwashed to two strokes. i ll keep everyone posted. got to get use to standing up and engine braking at the same time.

engine breaking will be nearly gone at around 1000 miles. my 04 warrior did it when I bought it new and I almost forgot about it (4200 miles now) until I got on my brother's RTX Appex yesterday....Almost went over the handle bars
Anyway, give it some time and when the motor breaks in it will be like a completely different machine.....

Nice to hear you like it. I just bought an Attak last week and it doesn't seem to engine brake that much, or I got used to it quickly.

now I have different opion, i think my 03 RX-1 had more brake. Could be because its not studded yet!!!
