Has anyone used there exhaust they make a trail and race version. I have modified my stock and dodnt like it Excell looks great put pricy and is a single outlet.

Do you mean MBRP?
If you dont like the mbrp, then you might want to try totally different style exhausts like the hauck and excell like you stated. Why dont you like the sound of your stock gutted?!

Yes I mean mbrp and my stock gutted gets too loud and has a severe droan to it. Yamaha also did there homework on the exhaust beacause there is very little gain for the money. So , modifing the stock exhaust may ok but a little loud dodnt know if was the wright performance gain. Hauk I heard was loud excell sounded ok its not as loud as my stock gutted. has anyone ran this pipe. Iwould like to put the stock back on it If any one wants to sell one or trade.

You might look at a Bender. I have one on my Apex and am happy with the not too loud sound and the fit. Had a White Knuckle 2 years back. too loud and poor fit. In my opinion.......

If you go with Bender stay away from the mountain version if you don't like loud sleds. Had one on for one weekend last season..Way too loud. Great fit though. I hear the standard bender is a lot quieter.

I know this is an old thread but I loved the way my SRX sounded with a MBRP and wouldn't hesitate to try it on a four stroke.
plus they sound good on duramax chevys too

i have an mbrp trail exhaust and it sounds awesome. not too loud but noticeable at both idle and going down trail. It was easy to install as well.

I dont have any real data but my Bender exhaust seems to be significanlty louder than last year. So much so that I took it off this weekend. I talked to them about possibly repacking it, they thought that they could do it but had never done one. Not sure where I'm headed next, I guess I will try stock for a while. But I did like the sound, it just seemed to be much louder tahtn when I 1st out it on in 06. I did have an MBRP on my RX1 years ago, nice system, not too loud at the time. Anyone else notice this with the Bender ystsem?
