Exhaust With Single Center Outlet What Kind Is It?

I just bought a 06 Apex and it has an exhaust with a single outlet in the center but doesn't have the Excel logo around it? I have been searching on here to identifiy it but the only exhaust I have seen with a single outlet is Excel. I don't think it is an Excel. It sounds nice but is very loud.

Does anybody besides Excel make a single outlet exhaust for the Apex? I will try and post some pictures to help identify it.

It doesn't look like an Excell to me. I would guess it to be a street bike exhaust. I would like to see more pics though, it looks like that guy did a good job keeping it stock looking to keep the CO officers happy.

It looks homemade to me. Check with the person you bought it from.

I don't think it is homemade. It fits too well and looks like it was made for this application. If you notice they even have a light in each outlet where the original exhaust was that are wired into the brake lights. When I hit the brake three lights come on back there. The machine is from Maine so possibly a performance dealer in Maine is having these kits made by somebody. It has a Hauck fuel accelerator and clutch kit.

The guy I bought it from got it from a dealer and it was a trade. He had no idea what had been done. I called the dealer but they didn't know either. I was hoping some body on here had seen one before so I know what it is. Later this week I will take the rear panel off and seat and get some more pictures and investigate some more.

Maybe a prototype from some aftermarket shop?

Mystery solved. I finally got around to pulling the seat and heat shield off today and found that it is in fact a street bike exhaust converted to work on the Apex. The shop that did it does awesome work. Very profesionally done. It is a two brothers street bike exhaust. I attached a couple more photos below.
