NEED A 12 VOLT IGNITION SUPPLY

I need a 12 volt ignition supply for my boost controller on a 03 rx1. Need to now what color wire for this. The boost controller takes 1 amp to work.

I used the tail light power to feed my temp guage. Just make sure to fuse it. You could also put in a relay to be totally isolated and protected.

on a 98 vmax the power for the tail light is blue.

 

[rx-1 blue reverse]

if it a ER you can also use the wire on the buzzer. I belive it is the brown w/ blue, not the pink.
