I have to replace the track on my Nytro this summer and i was wondering just how big i can go paddel wise ? Its a 2009 Nytro fx 121''. The tunnel protectors are still inplace and i dont really want to remove them as i plan on re-studding the new track .

With stock drivers (9tooth) i think 1.5" is the biggest you can go and still keep the tunnel protectors..
I removed both tunnel and heat exchanger protectors when i installed my 1.75" track..
Do a search in the FX Nytro section, and you will find a lot info regarding this..
Good luck

Ok so since i have to change the track anyway i have been thinking about the 136 kit from OFT. Anyone have any input ?

I think the oft kit is one of the best extension kits out there. They make really good products and have a great customer service.
Im running a tracksusa 144 kit on my RTX and am really happy with it,
but the only reason i went with tracksusa instead of oft is cause i got a package deal on rail/ tunnell extensions and a new track at the time i extended mine. Since the shipping cost overseas is quite expensive i went for the whole deal instead of ordering the parts from different companies. Otherwise i would have gone OFT, no doubt about that.
Good luck on your decision

Hey nork..... I've seen you out on the trails with that nytro of yours... as stated above, go with the 1.5 track, we did a crossover 1.5 on my buddies XTX, and made the sled a completely deferent beast in the "loose" snow... I'd go with the 136 extension....if not longer.. i just finished a 151" tunnle extension and a 144 rails from Hartman for my 40th.... awesome kit. comes with new bumper and all. I do wish the rail extensions were cut for the hyfax, mine are not, but i should have ordered....
Confused?

I have a nytro xtx skid if ur interested
