Yes you take off the brake disk, caliper, and there are some spacers behind the disk. Keep all of the spacers sorted out so that you know how to put it back together. There are a bout five bolts that hold the case halves together and on the machine. Remove the ones that hold the outside cover on, remove the cover and gears and chain. The big nut on the top gear can be tricky to loosen but if you put the key that goes to the disk back in and put a crescent aroutn the shaft and wedge up next to the key you can then loosne the nut with a wrench. again keep track of where all the spacers go for reassembley. The only other thing is the bearing on the other end of the shaft with the drivers has two #T20 torx set screws holding it in place on the shaft get them out and you are good. I left some of the incrediably obvious steps out but this should be enough info to get it done.
