hi guys: I'll give a background then an update of what i have done!background: sled is not idleing unless i keep gas on. idle screw does NOT have any effect on idling in or out! tors was on code 84...i bypassed to trouble shoot. when it is idling missing and idling 3000,,then 1500 thenn 2000 all the time as i keep the same pressure on trottle...... before this happened a couple of days ago...would idle...put barly...had to feather it to keep going...it seems to have progressed into this...
What i have done: new spark plugs (old ones where a little black) cleaned up the iav (the one with 6 1/4" hoses attached...the one with the black idle screw... checked calibrated the free play on trottle cable...cleaned the trottle bodies..
now trottle bodies were somewhat dirty...air box dirty.....
after i did this it run ok...ok...alittle while cold then as soon as warm died...
Also NO NO fault codes............grrr
waht i am going to do is check all resistance measurements on TPS, Iginion coils, clean out fuel pump screen, check fuel pump pressure, clean out check vavle.
If anyone has /had this problem.....is there anything else to check..............fk...this is my first time i 4 yrs my baby has taken me down... 2008 apex ltxgt all stock...
Sounds like a vacuum leak, start closely inspecting your hoses.
