Hi all,
This weekend I went to start my sled and it shut off a couple times when I wasnt standing near it. I hoped on, rode it for a minute and it shut down. The Error 30 code flashed so I checked all my fluids and changed my plugs. Everything was fine so I tried riding it and restarted it a few times trying to see if It needed warmed up...then the slapping/rattling noise started so i shut it down and towed it home. Oil level is fine and i found out this is an oil code.
1. Any guesses what would be making the rattling noise? its still running on all cylinders, so valve? I know its not good.
2. Any suggestion?
I bought an RX1 oil tank because mine cracked at the mount (common problem i read) and changed it after the noise started and the code quit flashing and the rattle went away at idle but came back at 2500RPM.
