I need help finding the routing of the thermostat temp sensor harness. I just completed replacing the valve cover due to corrosion and coolant elbo leaks. after reassembling the whole thing, refilling oil, and antifreeze, and reconnecting all harness I cycled power. ER-1 comes up. I noticed that there is no harness on the thermostat temp sensor but cannot find the wire. anyone steer me in the right direction. I am sure it is hiding in plain sight.

In my experience, ER-1 is a problem with grounds. Check the main ground wire from the battery, especially the connector from it for corrosion, and the ground blocks.
