I'm putting my front end back on, but I need the torque specs for the 10 bolts that hold the front end on. I have the service manual and am looking at the torque spec list, but I dont know what everything is called to go by that. I tried just doing 35lbs, but the bolts keep spinning and wont click off. I don't want to strip the holes out, or under torque them for that matter.
I already had loc-tite on all the bolts, so I ended up just tightening them to German TQ specs: Goot-n-tite.

Re: Need help Quick!! Need torque specs for 10 front end bol
If it wont click at 35ftlbs I am afraid you stripped them.35 inch or ft lbs? Here is the specs I used since I couldnt find anything else in manual.
Blue Loctite 11ft lbs since it is a 8mm bolt.None have come loose since.

I only tried to torque 1 or 2 of them. But they're not stripped. I blue loc-tited them all and tightened them up good without the torque wrench. It should be alright. 11lbs seems like its not enough torque.

I agree.Sometimes Pig-Tight method works better but you definitly have to have a feel for it.Otherwise go by manual Eh Marpolsdofer.
