I'm going to replace my 04 Warrior with an 07 model, and am having trouble deciding between the Attack GT, the Apex GT and the RTX. About 80 percent of my riding is on trails, with the ballance being mostly lakes and fields. I'm a big guy, so will be adding a big boy spring, and also a set of simmons skiis. I ride fairly hard, and put on a lot of mileage, mostly in Canada. I like my old Warrior, but, it isn't great in the tight turns, steers pretty heavy, and is down right brutal on badly moguled trails, with the suspension constantly bottoming. I'm really hoping an 07 will be an improvement.

I'm leaning toward the Attack, but don't want to just rule out the Apex. Also, whats the deal with the RTX? Would it be a better choice for a guy my size ( about 300# geared up )?

I'm primarily looking for a comfortable, long distance ride, thats quicker and more precise in the turns, steers easier, and is capable of running rough trails without killing my back.

Sounds like Attak fits your needs best. I ran 06 Attak 4000 miles mostly on long distance canadian trail riding. Best sled I've ever owned. Long track and mono shock suspension properly set up for you will be great. Only reason IMHO to go with a short track would be if you ride mostly tight twisty trails. I think the long track would also handle you weight better for long rides. I had 05 warrior, good sled, but Attak is way! better for overall ride and handling. studdog

Either the attack or the apex will get er done..

I too went from a 04 warrior to a apex gt.. and would never go back.. it rails compared to the warrior..

Id get a RTX .. ditch the handgards and windshield and put on a taller one.. and be all set..

I weigh around 250 with gear and the attak was great. Suspension bottomed but it was alot better than I thought it would be in tight trails. Suspensions handled the bumps great, the back just bottomed too much. Go for the attak with a stiffer spring.
