Need Help - Turning Headlights On

One would think they would have them so they could be turned on without motor running on models with a battery. How many time would be nice to have lights. But i guess maybe they are saving all the dummys of the world from killing their batteries out in the boons.

You're on the money, I would never want to run the lights without the motor running the stock battery is not strong enough to run the lights for any decent amount of time and then start your sled the next morning when its stone cold and -25C like it was this morning not super cold but I don't have a stock battery; I have a gel cell with better specs than stock and she turned over no issue but you could tell the starter/battery combo is taxed in the cold on the big 4st motors.
I wish the starters/relays and wiring were a bit more robust just for the issues of the cold weather in which they always operate. I also dislike the fact there is no way to start other than electric, I'm sure the crafty Japanese engineers can figure something out!

You can do that with a warm engine. Might be hard to do that when the temp is 0.
