Today I was out riding my Apex and I noticed my Check Engine light was on. My speedo showed a code 84 which I know is TORS. My sled had the symptoms of Tors as well but then it even started to run differently. It has a stumble at lower rpm's. I was almost home and I let of the throttle and my sled stalled. Now it will not idle at all and it runs like crap on the lower rpm's. I got home and disabled the TORS and it still ran like crap in the lower RPM range. I pulled the plugs and they were all good and everything with the airbox is tight and clean. The sled has 4186 miles on it. I'm now thinking it could be bad gas. Has anyone had a similar problem?

I would say if you bought gas at an active gas station, bad gas is less likely.
If you bought gas at a resort, then it is much much more likely you have bad gas.
Have you done anything to the sled in the last month that would have involved removing the airbox?

I got gas at an active gas station. The airbox was removed about 1 month ago for a filter change. I have since put 2200 miles on the sled and it just started acting up today.

On my 03 RX-1, after about 6K, and after tearing carbs apart, and other work, discovered it was the ignition coils (right where they meet the plug). The connection wasn't good on one of the four.

Just an update.
This morning I added fuel injection cleaner. After spending the night in a heated garage my Apex fired right up and ran great. I went to the local gas station and filled up and we took off. It ran great for about an hour and then it started to have a stumble in the lower RPM range. It got worse as we kept riding. I also noticed that the fuel gauge was going down fast. After 79 miles we got to a gas station and my light was on. My father's Attak took 5.6 gallons and my Apex took 9 gallons. He got 14 MPG and I got 8.77 MPG. We are always within 1/2 gallon of each other. I put a bottle of dry gas in the sled still thinking it was bad gas. We took off and my gas gauge started decreasing fast! At 59.2 miles I ran out of gas. My father syphoned enough gas out of his sled to give me 3 bars on my gas gauge. He only had 2 bars on his gauge. We went another 10 miles to the gas station and both our gas lights were on. I still took more gas than him and he gave me alot of his. I don't think the sled is leaking gas because I can't smell it at all. I honestly think the sled is flooding itself and that is why it only runs good above 8,000 RPM's. The sled will not start unless I give it about quarter throttle and everytime I let off for more than 3 second's it stalls. From 1,000-7,900 RPM"s it stumbles like crazy. The exhaust also sounds louder at lower RPM's. I just had the Y pipe and donuts replaced at 2,800 miles. The sled is going to the dealer's this week. I am really anxious to find out what is causing this!

Sounds like a temp. sensor or something like that. Did you ckeck all the sensor plugs? Must be running full rich.

Well the dealer called. It was my Throttle Position Sensor. According to my dealer it was feeding my sled the fuel it needs for half throttle at idle. That is why at 8,000 RPM of above it ran good. At those RPM's it was getting enough air to burn the fuel. He also said my plugs were shot because of it and this is the first TPS failure they have seen on the Apex models.
