Well dad was complaining that the mach z was getting beat by me all the time on the SC apex so I monkeyed around with it and somwhat isolated the knock sensor now the freakin thing pulls me!!!

Im seeming to be having some troubles and I am going to build a boost leak tester tomorrow to verify this. Im pulling to 10500 like nothing then it starts to pull the rpm down to around 9800 and the mach goes by. If it stays at 10500 Im gone but if it falls off I get passed. What could cause this slipping belt?

Im running hartmanc kit and I had to lighten the arms up last weekend to around 72g's I installed the ultimax belt and lost almost 1000 rpm compared to the stock belt. I tried my fastest setup which would kill the mach before and I still can't catch it now. Any Idea's? My 7lb pulleys should be here tomorrow Im hoping thats enough to get me out front of most everything. I also noticed my fuel mileage took a huge dump making me think I have a leak but Im not sure I'll be trouble shooting tomorrow night.

I HAVE a wideband :tg:

I found the problem I had an intercooler clamp break and couldn't hold more then 2 psi when I pressure tested it. Its all good now :die

You always have to keep an eye on your plumbing........

Sounds good! I would think it would have shown way rich on the gauge.

U know what it did well show richer. I actually backed the fuel numbers off on the efi box a 1/2 a point across the board then it woke up I figured it was a diff day so I needed to adjust.

It was weird though it would come out hard as hell and charge to 90 mph then start to loose rpm and lay down. I thought the belt maybe was slipping but now I know what it was. The lower clamp that connects the cac tube from the sc was completly loose and I could spin it with my fingers. I had the pressure tester on and couldn't hold over 2 psi it would just leak from there like crazy.

All I know is the fuel controller numbers
you gave me work great. I run a ulmer
clutch kit set by them for a 5lb. boost.
I had it out for the first time last saturday
and put 350km on it. I could pull 10 sled
lengths on a stock apex in about 1000 ft.
I got 130mph on the speedo vs 109mph
by the stock apex on a snow covered lake.
I will send you pictures on how my air box
is cut out with two types of fine hard plastic meash
riveted to it for great air flow with out the snow getting in. It runs great and I will let you know
how I make out with one of my friends Mack Z.
I also know another guy running a Hartman clutch
and he is saying he can not hold it to the bar
with out it slipping.
