Need to buy some sort of bag

Don't order the accessory windshield bag for the any short windshield, it will stick out above the windshield, i think if you have a low windshield you need to order the one for a stock windshield, i never reordered so i am not positive but i do know the accessory one will not work with a low accessory windshield.

Here is some pics of the Seattle sports bag I used and the mount. I just set the Powermadd box on there to show how it looked.

I have the Tank bag and found it to be in the way when riding aggressively. I much prefer the windshield bag.

Do you have this same tank bag? There is one that quite a bit bigger that I thought would be way too restrictive.

Do you have pics of it on the sled?

Here are some pics of the tank bag and my windshield bag. The shield bag holds twice as much and isn't in the way.

I wonder if that windshield bag would fit the mid height windshield??

RR

There are two bags in the catalog. One for the stock windshield, and the other is for all accessory windshields short, mid and tall. At least that is what it says.

Yea the mid one is what you want it rocks my buddy has it! To bad i orderd mine BACK ORDER... Man i get sick of this....

Yamaha makes a rear trunk bag. We put one on my buds XTX and didn't have to drill anything. We used existing holed on the sled. It looks awesome. I do not have any pics though. I will be getting one for my FX Nytro. This thing can hold a tone of stuff. I have the tank bag, but it doesn't hold much. I use it for my GPS basically. On an XTX you can't go around the bumper likeyou can on a shorty. You have to take the straps and go under the Muffler mounting bracket. It doesn't touch the muffler either. all zippers are sealed also. ;)! 2 small buckles are connected to the tunnel and the other two straps snap together. Quick and easy to take off also.

I installed the same bag, I originally had the rear straps go under the exhaust mount too but was afraid it would burn or chafe through. It holds alot of gear, I was originally only going to use it for longer trips but I have alot of items that could come in handy so I am going to leave it on all the time.

I have since installed a tank bag, it's only big enough to pack a lunch in but that's all I wanted it for, I miss the under seat storage.
