I bought a used ECP filter and clutch kit off of here and I need to get the carb springs, need jets (sizes to start with, riding in Mi.)plugs but I also need to get bushings for the skid, bearings and seals for jack shaft. I did not know if one of the guys on here carries all this because if they do I would rather buy from them all together than trying to go different places.

Besides what I listed are there any other things I should look for. I read on here about a bearing so I decided to take off my secondary and mine would not have made past the first day of riding. I have always screwed around till it got cold then decided to fix what needed it but with this site and all the great help I am starting early as I read things that other people are doing. Thanks for any help.

Forgot to mention that it is a 2003. It is still under warr. but I dont know if it even covers that and dont really care because they put a new track on it and used the old drive axle bearings that are trashed after less than 500 miles that I put on it. I just want to learn how to do the work so I can only blame myself when something goes wrong. Thanks :rocks:

Port Yamaha is a sponsor and can supply Yamaha parts, check the sponsor listing for aftermarket dealers.

I talked to Matt and he was helpful but he doesnt sell the parts just the kit, so he referred me to Freddie.
Would it be a good idea to use the oem style bearing or an after market. Thanks

You can buy the bearing at any bearing house (eg) Applied Industrial Technologies, Motion Industries, Bearing Dist., Kaman Brg.
Yamaha used a high quality bearing from the factory. When you buy the brg. just ask for a high quality like Torrington-Fafnir or SKF or MRC.......
Buying from the dealer maybe a bit costly.?
