I put C & A ADX on the FX, but now it steers quite a bit harder than it should and I want to lighten the ski pressure - would stiffening the front shock in the skid be the right way?

I'm having the same exact problem.....
The skis I choose are the C & A Pro's and the rear end wants to come around the front.....
You are right, tighten up the 'center' shock (Fron on the rear skid.
Also, you may want to reduce the spring pressure on the skis

If you guys have stinkbug setups, you'll need to lower the rear-end/raise front-end.
Backing off the front springs will lower the front end and put more weight on it.

Not if you preload the front spring in the skid...

I might have to stiffen the spring and let out the limiter straps to accomplish what I am trying to do.
