Just wondering if anyone has info for drag racing classes. We are having some friendly races for our winterfest this saturday, and are uncertain of how to set up each heat and how to determine who moves up to the next heat in that class. we will be having 380cc up to 1000cc mod classes. Would there be sheets anywhere online to fill in to simpify the 1st,2nd, 3rd places bases on a points system. Also some people argue what classes the fx Nytro, rx1 and apex belong. Thanks for any help.

Fx nytro belongs in the 700cc class and the apex belongs on the 800cc class. Depending on the race, ive seen the RX-1 in either 600 or 700cc. How many lanes will you be using? If its 4 lanes top 2 generally advance to the next heat (if only 3 racers in a particular heat the top 2 still advance, hope that helps a little. I have all the ISR rule books as well in case you have any more specific questions for each class

i always thought the Fx Nytro to be a 600 class sled. it's only 130 hp

Thats the way ive always seen it as well! the old nytro the 120 hp or vector runs the 500 class around here the fx nytro 600 class, ive seen the apex run in the 600 class before i think it should be the 700 class but the fx nytro 600 or 600 improved! Even in the ams oil shootout it runs with the 600s.

you must find out from your local snowmoble association that is holding the event on what class you fall into, in my case my nytro fell in the 600cc class. from what Ive found out there are 2 different sets of "rules" one were the nytro is a "600cc" class sled and another were its concidered a "140hp" sled (concidered to be a 700cc machine)

ISR places the Fx nytro in the 500 class. (HP to weight ratio I guess) typically it runs in the 600 single pipe, and Apex in the 600 multi pipe
