just got my new white windsheild,it is 2'' higher and it blocks way more wind, specially on the chest, cuz im 6' 3'' so the stocker was too cold for me,also,i made a rear rack that is easily removable with 4 bolts,as i do alot of work on the trail with signage ,so i can strap a bag easily or anything else, when the work is done i'll remove it,might use it for my trips though, here's a couple pics

Windsheild looks great and a good height. Thinkn' would that white windy look good on my blue vector?

pat the rat,
how did the sled handle right out of the crate? darting? darting really bad, just a little?
will you be shimming the skis?
i have not even had a chance to ride my new 09 vector LTX GT yet (dec 20th will be my first trip up), wondering if i should just go ahead and order the bergstrom savers, runners, and shims?
the dealer i bought it from told me i'm crazy to do this without at least riding it first in total stock form. he was another 'don't beleive everything you read on a message board' kinda guy. is he right? of course..... i see the irony of 'reading' your replies.

That windshield looks great, Pat. I also have the same shield in the smoked flavor and it is a nice improvement over the shorter stock shield.

you will defenatly need dually's or something cuz it does dart out in stock form, nothing like my uncle's z1 though, you think we have darting problems, try a cat, need a neck brace to drive those,as i work in a welding shop,i have access to welders and band saw' etc...,i made my own anti darting solutions, like a formed steel channel, works great
