Well, my father decided he needed a sled for himself, so last night he took delivery on a Blue Apex ER, and I mean delivery. The dealer was more than good on the deal, and he actually delivered the sled right to my house from app. 80 miles away ! Now, the garage is starting to look like it belongs in a Yamaha commercial, an 02 Kodiak, an 04 R1, and now an 06 Apex, all Yamaha Blue ! I haven't ridden Yamaha sleds since over three years, so it's nice to see one around again. I was more than impressed when I saw the sled. I'll post some pics tomorrow. Can't wait till next year !

If you don't mind me asking, what did he pay for it? I would like an Attak but I can not decide whether to get a leftover 06 or spring order 07. If the deals are right for the left over, I would be interested for sure!

We got some unexpected snow last night and today, about 6 inches or so, so we decided to test out the new iron, couldn't wait till next year. We only took a dozen or so rips around the yard each, but man, what a nice sled ! I couldn't get over the throttle response, and that was just putting ! The rider position is awesome, very comfortable, sits nice and high, and the sound of the engine and that exhaust note, THAT EXHAUST, unreal ! One things for sure, it cuts good sods off the front lawn !!! Next year is going to be very.....interesting.
