I am looking for a new battery for my rx-1. what do you guys think. should i put the same yuasa ytx20lbs model back in it or i have seen batteries as low as $25.00 for a cheap one. r the cheap ones junk? also where is the best place to get a light weight battery? thanks

one thing about it, if the 'cheap' battery goes you can't pull start these tubs..... Also, are you really that concerned about weight?? If not, I'd just stick with what works - the Yammie battery.

The original 03 battery was the best. It has about enough juice to start a bulldozer. That and it is maintenance free and seems indestructible if it is set up right upon initial installation. I just checked mine over (original battery) last weekend (after having not been touched once since March, no charger, nothing), and it cranked the engine over like it had just spent 24 hours charging.

I dont think anybody has complained about the Apex/Attak battery which is about 8.5 lbs if I remember correctly.
It is a newer hi-tech Yuasa battery (black case)
check with Ulmer Racing on this, he is a dealer for them. Allen is extremely knolageable and very honest. You can post right in his vendor section.
