Turbo Vmax4 prepped for ice made a new hp record at Dynotech Research. Same sled what is the 2009 NSSR ISR World Record Speed Holder "Open Lake Racer" class 162.406 mph in 1000'.

"Well just got home today from our dyno session at Dynotech Research in Batavia, NY. What a great day it turned out to be as reported by (Vmax-4) Curt Wald. Sled came home in 1-piece ready for ice and with more left in the "boost" tank for reserve.

New official record is now: 560.2 h.p. and 332.0 ft. lbs of torque @ 36 psi of boost.

Can't wait to see what this sled is going to do this year with over 110 more horsepower from 2009 when we ran 162.406 mph in 1000'. Looking at 175+ mph in 1000' for 2010. "

That is some serious power. Should be a interestin to see how fast it will go this season.

Damn V-max-4's they just seem to end up coming back with more power. How many times have they been outlawed now?

2 for sure. ;)

Yep, this is going to be a fun year on the ice!!!

Thank you for the kind words guys, its been fun!

Mike, I can definately appreciate what you did with these Vmax-4's back in the day on asphalt...you did what took many guys years to duplicate and match and breaking into the 150's when you did. To bad they had to outlaw that sled 2 times so the competition could catchup. Most of us haven't forgot that sled of yours.

Terry, I need to get over to the Maximum Velocity Race Shop and see whats up, been to long.

Well, only 1-1/2 months 'til the first speed run, can't hardly wait!
