I want to replace the front floats on the skinz concept 39" on my turbo, and am currently looking at the Exit X0-TR and the Elka Stage 1+R shocks.

I want to replace the shocks to get a smoother/softer ride for boondocking and i feel i dont need the stiff fox floats.

What shocks would be best? Elka or Exit?
Does any of those come with spherical bearings?

Is it possible to install spherical bearings in the Gytr clicker shocks i have on my xtx? Where to get those bearings?

I really like the way the gytr clickers and öhlins shocks work.

Thanks

I run the Elka Stage 5 shocks on my Nytro RTX race sled and LOVE them!!

I know some guys that are running them as well for back country deep snow riding and they are just as happy!

They do come with the spherical bearing already installed, Curve Industries is a TY sponsor and US distributor for Elka so check them out at http://curveindustries.com/

I run Elka stage 1+r on my sled, I am also a dealer. The Elka's are my favorite shock I have ran with the Skinz front end but they do have a smaller spherical joint requiring custom spacers up to to accommodate the missalignment. I can do this free of charge. Exits come as a direct fit and I am also a dealer for them. Spring rates/valving does change quite a bit from a standard front end to the Skinz, Elka has nailed it for the concept front end.

I do have a prototype set of GYTR clickers converted in the shop, but there is a lot more machine work required to do it and it would price itself out of the market to offer it as a retail offering unfortunately.

Shoot me a Email if you'd like to discuss options.

Thanks again for your order! You're going to love your new Elka's!

I sincerely hope so!

With how much i like my GYTR clickers on the XTX compared to the Floats, i doubt I will get dissapointed.
