So my current sled is an 04 gade 800. Its been one of those money pit years with it and I'm thinking of buying a leftover 2010 nytro xtx. Regular gas and no more injection oil is very appealing.
I ride probably 50% trails and the other 50 is busting up drifts or carving up backcountry powder. Carving up the powder is my favorite thing to do so flickability is very important to me.
My concern is that I won't be big enough to throw the sled around in the powder. I'm 5"9 and 170lbs. I find my gade is stubborn when it comes to laying over but it has a wider ski stance than the nytro.
I plan on switching to the 1.75 backcountry track, putting on MTS skis and probably the float plate.
I don't mind putting some muscle into it but don't want it to be much worse than my rev.
Thanks guys/gals
