Instructions shows plugs hooked togeter, then connected to wiring harness on sled, with one wire going to each side.
Took the old one off and did not see old hardness connected together.
I followed directions, did I do right, or should of I scrapped connector?

The old setup didn't have the extra harness but the new one does. They have instructions and the instructions show the harness. I know its hard for us guys but this is a good time to follow instructions. The instructions are very simple and plain to see, just make sure you connect the yeelow/red plug with the yellow/red on your sled. The other side goes to the black and black/red side.

The '06 bars were wired in parallel. The replacement bars are wired in series. Follow the directions or they wont work properly.

Not to take over this thread or anything, but are you guys doing this install yourselves? I was under the impression that the dealer was to do it.

Skip to the lower part of the instructions (3/4 way down the page)as the first connection is already done for you as that is how mine were when I got them.

It has to be the easiest thing I've ever done on a sled. There is no need for the dealer to do it, if you can use a right handed screwdriver and a lefthanded ratchet then you can do it yourself.JJWickenhauser said:Not to take over this thread or anything, but are you guys doing this install yourselves? Hardest part of the install was getting the wires into the loom other thatn that was a breeze...

Not sure how yours were wired but mine were a simple plug and unplug...everything was wired ready to go. I tried everything out and they work great.

Getting the wires back in the loom wasn't as hard as getting the small clip out of the throttle pin and back in again without having it "zing" into space somewhere.

Why did you take the pin out of the throttle? Not necessary, just separate the 2 halves and slip the throttle over the bar. The throttle cable needs to be disconnected or at least makes it easier.
I agree on the getting the connectors back into the loom was the greatest problem for me and that wasn't difficult, a little tedious.

If you pull the ping you don't have to disconnect the throttle... I am sure there are other ways and this is the best way for me. I made the bar change in about 15 min this way.
