<<New help with installing a tethered kill switch >

Need to acquire and install a tethered kill switch for a race coming up. Can someone please point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance for your replies/suggestions/comments

Fine the two wires that run to the key. I think one is a brown wire cut it and add you tether as a bridge and the mount the kill switch to the bars. I would give you a pic but not at home.

Pic is from the boot under the panel in front of the bars. The color of the wire is a tan/brown.

You got the right switch I hope. "NORMALLY CLOSED" and most people I know have them wired into the kill switch wiring.

Just received the universal normally closed tether today..Going to install this weekend. Anymore suggestions be sides the one above would be great before i do the install. Thanks in advance.

Question Tether has red wire going to the engine stop switch ..What color on the snowmobile would that be??

And it also has green wire from tether going to the ECU/CDI of the snowmobile..What color is that then???

I have always wired them into the kill switch wires. I cannot remember the color but you can find the connectors inside the rubber boot under the headlight pod with a tester or I have wired them in right on the bars next to the throttle inside the wire cover.

Got it to work. Thank you all for helping me out. I appreciate it!!! Now hopefully I will win my hillclimb race tomorrow!!!
