hey guys, I'm gonna buy a new nytro but can't decide between the rtx se and the xtx. I'm a pretty aggressive rider and i heard the xtx is a little soft...but the longer track would be really nice cause we like to play in the powder! I was thinking that a rtx se with the better and stiffer shocks might be a better choice...i know i can extend it out to a 136 for about 600 bucks.
what do you guys think?

You can always tweak the sled to work for your tastes. I personally bought the xtx, and I understand that if it is too soft, I may have to change springs or other parts to make it ride correctly for me.
Far too often, someone thinks they need the most agressive sled because they ride aggresively, but then they end up complaining that their new sled beats their kidneys to a pulp! The fx chassis is a more agressive chassis to begin with, and you may find that you'd be perfectly happy with an RTX or XTX.
I had a 40th RTX last season, and I was jumping 2 lane roads and barely bottoming.
Dont go too overboard, you'll be less happy than tightening up a softer sled.

thanks guys, I think i'm gonna go with the rtx se, and stretch it to a 136.
Back when i bought my mxz I was too cheap and bought the adrenaline instead of the x-package...ended up spending an arm and a leg on new springs and valving. Plus having a limited edition just sounds cool

I've heard people talk on ty about that cobra track, is that the 1.352" lug track? I prefer to run a few studs, would i be able to stud a track with lugs that tall on the new nytro? just curious if there are any clearnace issues, thanks

the cobra is 1.25 in the center so 1.375" should be ok

I'm running 1.450 woodys with zero issues. There is a ton of clearance on the Nytros
