Im a little new to sleds, so bare with me.

I have an '07 Apex mountain with 1100+ miles on it. Ran perfect last winter. Im going to change the oil in it here soon.

How soon/often should a guy change the spark plugs? I changed the plug in my Husaberg dirt bike, that didn't need it, but oh man did it run smoother!

Do we run these sleds at such high RPM's that the plugs stay clean(er)?

Not much action in the Apex Mountain section, so I posted in here. A motor is a motor right?

Regards

Doesnt hurt to take them out and apply a little antisieze just to prevent them from seizing in there. Many guys also run the EK which has two electrodes for a bit more power. That said my Phazer which comes with the EK's stock is still running the original set of plugs with 10,700 mi on them. They still look new and have never fouled so why change them.

If I spend the time to take them out, I would put in new....JMO.

I put the the cr9ek's in mine when it was new. 11,000+ miles and never had a problem. Maybe I will think about it at 25000.

1,100? I wouldn't worry about them. Almost 16,000 miles on my 06 Attak, runs great but I'm putting in new stock plugs this fall.
